Lanata & Associates was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in April of 1986. The company provides data for design of various projects including but not limited to site design of single family house subdivisions, parking lot grading and commercial building sites.

Using the most up-to-date field and office equipment, the field technicians obtain data quickly and precisely to be processed in the office in a digital format for utilization by state-of-the-art software and computerized drafting systems. The data collection process allows the engineering staff the ability to calculate drainage volumes and rates for pre and post construction of projects in an efficient and timely manner.

By employing only state-of-the-art equipment and an experienced, professional staff, our clients are assured of the utmost accuracy, regardless of project size or complexity. Whether your project is a simple subdivision or a multi-use tract of hundreds of acres, we provide these services in a cost-effective manner.

We have developed extensive data base sheets to aid in the design of major sewer, water, and gas transmission lines, as well as construction and development parcels for both residential and construction and use. We understand the importance of accurate and useful information as the project goes into the design phase and then into construction. Because of its concern for environmental protection, virtually every state in the region requires the careful delineation of all wetlands. We are well versed in this important surveying service and have performed it for municipalities, developers, and major specialized engineering firms.

For subdivision and construction layouts, we establish horizontal and vertical control for roadways, including grading; utility line locations and lot lines; and provide certified as-built plans. We can also provide topographic surveys and aerial photographic control which provides vital information for accurate contour mapping so essential in many survey and development projects. For added accuracy and minimum delivery time, most information is obtained from a computer data base.
